QAF's Sale Policies

 
 

In an effort to make an easy transition from our barn to yours -
we have come up with the following sales agreement.
Please read it carefully and ask any questions you may have BEFORE purchasing an animal from us.

Please note this policy was put in place to insure:

  • The customer is serious about buying our animal(s)
  • We do not pass up a good home for our animals
  • The buyer gets the animal he/she wants.
  • What is best for our animals

At Quarter Acre Farms we take pride in being a responsible breeder.
We will not knowingly sell a sick or aggressive rabbit.

  • We have a closed rabbitry and will meet you at an offsite location for all sales 
  • Prices for rabbits can change according to the development of the rabbit and show recognitions. 
  • A NoN-Refundable deposit is required to hold any rabbit. 
  • We reserve the right to end a sale at any-time.

Forms of Payment:

We will gladly accept Cash,Visa, Master Card, Discover, & American Express Cards.

We cannot  accept personal checks.


All rabbits we sell are guaranteed to be free of any signs of illness or injuries at the time of sale.

We guarantee the health of the rabbit for 5 days from the day the rabbit leaves our barn.

If any health problems arise within the 5 days we are more than happy to work out a trade. If a problem arises we must be notified within 24 hours and within the first 5 days. The illness or death of the rabbit must not be due to the rabbit not being quarantined from other rabbits - predator attacks - unsafe or unsanitary housing - rough handling - stressful conditions - improper feed changes or poor management. Each rabbit will be sold with a sampling of our food. We recommend you use the same feed but if you do decide to switch feed you must do so at your own risk and we cannot guarantee the rabbit will continue to eat which could jeopardize the health of the animal.           
We will not be responsible for any Vet bills.

A non-refundable deposit is required to place a hold on any rabbit(s).. Once stated you would like to purchase a rabbit. The deposit must be received within 7 days or the rabbit will go back up for sale. With a deposit, transportation arrangements are to be made within 2 weeks - If you wish to have your rabbit held longer than 2 weeks Please be aware that an extra charge of $5.00 per day will be added to cover feed & board.(unless we have come to another agreement). If the rabbit is not picked up by the date agreed upon it will be placed back up for sale and the deposit will be forfeited.

The buyer is responsible for examining the rabbit the day of pick-up.

We examine all of our rabbits to the best of our ability for any DQ's but we are human and mistakes can be made. Our pet quality rabbits are not intended for shows and or for breeding.

If for any reason you decide you can not keep the rabbit or no longer want the rabbit - we will not buy the rabbit back from you but if we have the cage space we will accept the rabbit back.
